Holy crap my Thunderbolt is one glitchy son of a gun! He's even broken a few levels for me! I mean for petes sake when I jumped to grab Blasterminds' soulgem he glitched to the top of the level and screwed up the triggered events! Has anyone else had issues with Thunderbolt? Like seriously he's been glitching in levels and arena's! He even stopped shooting lightning on his sword swings and gets stuck in the ground! I hope he doesnt do this in my Superchargers game because he's a very strong character and a lot of fun when working right.

Short answer is no, I have noticed no particular strangeness with my Thunderbolt. I imagine these glitches are only happening with Thunderbolt and not any other characters? If it is only Thunderbolt, you may want to consider contacting Activision Support. I have had great results with them. They replaced several of my Skylanders over the years.

Replacing a Broken Skylanders Toy or Portal

Question: My Skylanders toy is broken. How can I get a new one?

Answer: Skylanders toys, Portals, and Traps can only be replaced if they are under warranty.

To get a replacement Skylanders product, follow these steps:

Go to Warranty & Returns at the top of this page. You will need to be logged in to submit a warranty claim. If you don't have an account, you can create a free account.
Select Hardware then select a subcategory.
Skylanders Toys and Portals — Select the correct option and then enter the model number located on the item.
Skylanders Traps — Select Skylanders Traps and then enter the name of the Trap.
Select Continue.
Follow the steps provided to complete the Warranty Form.


I wouldn't worry about the 'warranty' part, they replaced mine without fuss.

This is the Activision site. Sign up for a free account and then submit your skylander as defective. They sent me a replacement in the mail pretty quick. I think they sometimes ask for the defective Skylander to be sent back but the first time I did a return, I forgot to send mine back and my new guy showed up in the mail anyway!! So...good luck and let me know if your pursue it.

Ohh! Well if you JUST bought it I would bring it back to your local retailer. Don't ask for your money back, just a swap for the same thing, another Thunderbolt. (It would help if you had the packaging)
