Online Multiplayer question...

Kinda new to Skylanders TT, just wondering if it is possible to play online multiplayer? I have played couch co-op, (2 players sharing the same screen) but is it possible for me to play at my house, and then play online with someone in another house? Hopefully allowing us to use our choice of Skylanders via the Traptanium. I have this on PS4.

Any help would be great!

Unfortunately none of the games in the skylanders franchise feature online co-op play, with the exception of online skystones on the 3ds version.

That will be why I couldn't find any information on it. Thanks Omenix!

Yep, what he said. It has been IMO the biggest request in the series, but there has been no action. I think the official stance would be that they view this as a family game and an interactive experience best held in the same room. That said, a big hurdle is how they would ensure younger players weren't exposed to adult themes etc. by an unregulated online interface. IMO the structures in place by the respective consoles friends lists etc. would be sufficient, but I think they want additional safeguards to preserve the "family" and "kid friendly" labels at their fullest.

Yup completely agree with this, and I guess looking at it from that angle it would be good to keep it a family game. As a 30 year old, I wondered if I was going to get the most out of the game playing solo, but as luck would have it, I recently got my gf involved, and she loves playing it with me. So, RESULT!!!! :D

Nice! Same age bracket here...I've always been of the mindset great games stand on their own and eclipse any "suggested" audiences. They are aware we (and more serious players) exist, but they feel their niche is the young kids and family market. I'm sure it gets tossed around a lot, but I honestly think they just prefer to err on the side of caution as opposed to have those 1-2 rare instances of abuse show up etc.
