I'd like to pick up a basketball game for the XB1, but wondered if anyone had insights on these titles...

Way back in the day (Sega) I loved playing NBA Live. Granted, I don't think there was another option, but it was always a good time.

My only experience with 2k was a 2011 ish Wii installment and that game was pretty bad. I've heard 2k14 was solid, but that their servers are bad. I don't think I'd ever play online, but I think I have read that the offline mode is somehow connected to the servers?! I hate stuff like that...

Any insights would be appreciated. If I go by cover alone I'd be going 2k for KD, lol.
