Wish this would have been the fact at launch...I had to return the TSP I got for my Nephew because of that. Glad they added it...opens up a lot more future sales.

THIS is a good thing!
We have a mini but were stopped dead by the incompatability. It could be fun!!
(I tried your link and saw one of the reviews mention the portal is a battery sucker...Shades of SSA. Too bad they did not steal the memory idea from the 3DS versions. Even with single play and the battery portal issue, I am tempted to pick it up.)

I'll have to look into cost.

I wonder if any future releases will be compatible with the standard mini's...That would be tempting.

It should be....

That is like making a new game aimed at kids and putting it only on XB1 or PS4...most "kids" will have the lower tier system for awhile before upgrading.
