Ok..so...every Skylanders Game seems to have a "Money Trick".
For the uninitiated this boils down to any method to gather copious amounts of cash quickly and easily to help you with purchasing upgrades, hats etc.
In Swap Force, it was the sky diamond magic item used while attacking the training dummies---huge payout!
Trap Team was less direct with the Chomp Chest and the buried treasure chests.
I have recently discovered what I think to be the Superchargers version of this. I have not seen it mentioned anywhere else so I thought I would post it up.

It boils down to Legendary Treasure statues placed for display in the courtyards of the Skylander Academy, which is the new hub. (Which I like very much by the way. I DO kinda wish they showed the old version getting pummelled and partially destroyed in the game introduction video but...whachagonnado? The New Yorker coming out in me!)

Anyway, when you put older magic items on the portal, they register and allow you to place a statue of it at the Academy. Things like Sparx the Dragonfly from Spyro's or the Nighmare Express Adventure Piece from Trap Team or the Fiery Forge from Swap Force. After placed, you walk up to the staue and attack it. In short order, it coughs up a useful bit o cash along with some fun animations which vary from piece to piece. Not monumental individually (Monmental for monuments..get it?!? ), but if you put a series of them together...its quick and easy cash that tallies fast.
I'll try to get some numbers on this (If your reading this Wiisdom, I'd love to see it documented somehow).

SSA and Giants have Money tricks also. I'm not sure if that is the fastest yet in Superchargers.

Well this doesn't totally help with getting money because it requires spending it. If you have a Skylander from any of the previous games with 65,000 on it, buy out the store. Money tends to pop up more once hats stop popping out of everywhere.

Not sure the thing in Giants, but I remember in SSA the treasure chest item from Pirate Seas Adventure pack gave lots of money and you could have it the tip of the peninsula where persephone lived so that when you talk to her it resets and you could get it again. I felt pretty proud of myself for finding it, but I think everyone knew

I love collecting gerbils! They're so cute and fuzzy! Oh...you meant gearbits...yeah they're nice too, but not as cute...
In any case, I don't think gearbits are as important. They really only offer boosts in attack snd defense stats, no new abilities or aesthetics (it'd be hell if the gearbits bought the customizations). On the note of customizations, Reef Ripper has a whole Thumpback themed customization suit (what else to call it?) Which is awesome, judt love the nid to veterans of the series. If only they'd done that with Lightning Rod, I mean seriously he has a whole level devoted to his backstory, but not even as much as a horn customization based on him? Would it really be so hard to mske a thunder noise and call it Rod's Lightning? Or Thunder of Rod? Or something? Am I the only one who sees this?

Im hopefully getting the sea racing action pack tomorrow and now im really keen to try out these mods you speak if. Oh and great news. I can now use the mods on the sky slicer (just had to rest the vehicle. I didn't lose the mods though which was awesome). The Sky Slicer looks so much better with mods. To be honest it probably has the best mod selection i ave seen yet. Its also way faster than Jet Stream. sadly, it is basically impossible to beat calamity canyon time trial on hard with Jet Stream. Im always around 15 secs off the time to beat, and thats when i dont crash once and i get every single boost. The Sky Slicer however, is much faster and I can beat the time if I have a flawless run, which is not too difficult.

If any of you guys have beaten this with slower vehicles, I tip my hat to you. That would be truely something.
