Good News & Bad News on Save Files

Well, first off Imaginators has been VERY FUN thus far.

The graphics are great, frame rate is smooth, voice over matches character's lips/mouths...I could go on about it all.

However, after doing something involving in-game Selfies, you get a buff for all Skylanders in that Battleclass...That changes the virgin attack damage...which is not good for me and Skylanders Research.

So, what is a guy to do? I didn't want to delete my progress, so I made a new save file. As soon as I started taking down enemies I noticed the damage #s were the same "improved numbers" from my other save file...what?!

Then I unlocked some Imaginite Chests and can confirm that Imaginite Parts also exist across save files. So if you have a file for yourself and a file for your kids, you will collectively be unlocking everything together (if that makes sense).

These are both good things...for almost everyone. My issue is I started the 2nd Save File to have the virgin attack numbers for Skylanders Research (which I assumed would be that way by default), but thanks to the game being generous, I'm stuck with the "buffed" numbers :s

All I know to do is play from a different profile (XB1), or cue up the Wii U version (currently don't have it) to remedy the situation. Just wanted to give a heads up of the good news for everyone.

My best recommendation for you would be to keep a file with no buffs on the WiiU , as I believe you said you were getting dark on WiiU right? In terms of crossover, yeah that's good for most players, personally I'm thinking if I wanted to do a challenge run type thing I'd have parts unlocked for a new file.

Yeah, plan to keep things seperate...

Different profiles do seem to protect from this at least.
