Hopefully makes sense. I had a Level 7 King Pen when I started this, took those numbers that I could then reset him a couple of times. Let me tell you to get stuck at level 2 is not easy. Only way I could get to level 2 without jumping to level 3 was to only do 1 surprise? attack on the M.A.P. which got me from 0 to almost enough experience for level 3. SO Level 1-3 and 7 are my own numbers..everything else is watching videos of other people. Side note a chompy did 16 damage to me a hit, a big diamond was worth 128 gold (they replace soul gems/3 lock chests/etc in a level you already got those things in) and food gave me 80 health at level 1 King Pen. Once more data points are in maybe an equation can be figured out. Hoping it'll apply to any character but my fear is they all will have their own equation for things.

1700t etc = Top Path (numbers are the gold it costs)
1700b etc = Bottom Path

I don't know how many times I have reset him - though mostly it was due to those unexpected piles of experience gain :evil: . Currently he is back to level 1 with needing to buy the last 2 items on the upper path. But my gosh he has data points coming out of the wood work. I know a level that I can get him enough xp (experience points) to get to level 2 after fully upgrading and then get more numbers for that level. After that I'll slowly work my way up in level hopefully with no screw ups. Issue for the completest in me is needing more King Pens or others helping would be better to go first with base upgrades but not take the 700 gold attack and collect data thru 20th, then do the same but with the 700gp attack. (I know you need to buy all the first upgrades before choosing a path) Then it would be the 1700t only level 1-20, etc from there. Crazy I know, but I might just do this over time.
Wiisdom if you see this, I ask that when you do his upper path on your WiiU file, that you take Emperor Penguin (3000 gold) before the 2200 gold (Ice Blade) because I'm curious what his damage numbers will be with the various attacks.

Well I've finished what I could from taking all the upgrades for the top path (minus Ski Chi) Just missing numbers for the Soul Gem snowball attack while in the ice ring (900gp). Didn't think I could pull it off, but I think I was able to if I start in the ice ring then do the snowball attack, even if it goes out of the ring. Unfortunately I did not learn that till I had upgraded to the ice blades (2200gp). Then as you can see the only other numbers needed are from someone taking the Emporer Penguin upgrade (3000gp) and not the Ice Blades one (2200gp) and completing all the attacks without ice ring (900gp) and then with.
When I've upgraded to level 2 and finished what I can, I'll go through and try figuring out the numbers.

Just by looking at some of the data for level 1 and 2, the Ice Arena adds 19-20% to the damage numbers. Will further investigate when I've looked at the level 3 numbers.

Let me explain this a bit. Going across the top:
HP=Hit Points=Health (Dungeons & Dragons influences me a lot in these things)
Att/Def/Spd/Luck = The 4 stats you have in the game
Att1/# = Penguin Combo attacks
Jump = Jump attack
Att2 = Frost Breath
Att2/Att = Frost breath trail when it is attacked either by spinning through, penguin combo or what have you, causes this extra damage. Now it has to be somewhat close as you can't do it at the end of a long trail of ice, but it will register at some point along a trail of ice.
Spin (500) = Penguin Drill
Spin (700) = Giga Drill
Arena = Ice Charge Lvl 1: Ice Arena (plus one gains +50 DEF when within the circle of ice)
Combo 1 = Penguin Combos - Penguin Combos (Frozen Combo)
Combo 2 = Penguin Combos - Penguin Combos (Spin Combo)
Snowball = Soul Gem Power
SkiChi = Ski Chi attack wave
SkiChi End = What damage is done at the very end.
Going along the left hand side column: (Note I took the Penguin Combo Path)
Reg = The regular damage done for each attack.
(+900) = Damage numbers when within the Ice Arena NOTE: You can begin in the circle and end up outside of it doing the increased damage
(+2200) = Penguin Combos - Ice Blades damage numbers
(+2200)(+900) = Penguin Combos - Ice Blade damage numbers within the arena
(+3000) = Penguin Combos - Emperor Penguin damage numbers
(....) etc with those with or with out ice blades and with or without the arena.

I've still got some more to tweak with on this, but I have a system down with getting attack numbers for various levels. Somethings I've discovered a bit late in the game and may not get the numbers till some time if at all. For one you can increase Ski Chi damage numbers by the various methods of having Arena active, Ice Blades, or even Emperor Penguin mode or a combination of all 3. However with the Arena you tend to not get a Ski Chi End number because of time constraints.

Frustrations at this point of research is the fact that while I think the increases are percentile based based on Arena/Ice Blades/etc, they do not truly conform across the board as it were. If this is a number based thing then it will be a bit as I work at obtaining more data points. I also must factor in the attack stat if that could skew the numbers and make this make more sense after figuring that out. Course if Toys for Bob could maybe explain it and save me time I'd be grateful 8-)

I've bloody done it!*
You have to drop the decimal point when calculating all of this, but I've figured out how the damage numbers are calculated from box stock.
Ice Arena (900) increases damage by +20%
Ice Blades (2200 on top path) increases damage by +40%**
Emporer Penguin (3000 on top path) increases damage by +30%
To calculate this out you must add the damage in this rank of order: Emporer Penguin Damage comes first, then Ice Blades, then Ice Arena (dropping the decimal each step).

* = Okay what does this mean, asterisks are bad right?**

** = Well the one wrench in this is Ice Blades and the Main Attack - Penguin Combo. Attacks 1 & 2 are +60% to damage numbers not +40%, Attack 3 is +54-56% as of this moment, and the final attack is +53-54%. Why does this attack not conform - I do not really know at this point. Though the jump attack does conform to the +40% and it explains why it isn't equal to attack 3 every time when dealing with Ice Blades.

{I hope to have another excel image up for all of this when I've done cataloging level 2 numbers - with numbers in bold that I have not confirmed but will have calculated out for the possibility of someone helping to confirm them.}{Also it maybe a bit of time for me to discover just what raising the attack stat does to damage numbers. In that is it a % based increase or static number.}

Wanted to add this small update do to a post Dark made over on DarkSpyro forums. So it seems each point increase of attack adds 1% to the damage. While looking this over in my spreadsheets I've noticed it seems to apply only to base attack numbers and not to those generated after an attack increase due to upgrades. You would have to apply the 1% per point first, dropping the decimal point, then add the increase percentage from the ability. It will make calculating things a heck of a lot easier now knowing this information. And make the selfie frames increase pretty easy to calculate as well.
As for what I promised above, well I've not touched Skylanders in over a month due to the release of Stardew Valley on PS4 8-) I'll get back to this someday.
